For nearly a decade, the book "Dark Emu" by Aboriginal historian Bruce Pascoe has sparked intense debate. In the book, Pascoe contends that many pre-colonial Aboriginal groups engaged in farming practices, citing instances such as eel aquaculture in Victoria and the cultivation and threshing of native millet in the arid center.
