Oppo Unveils Find X10 Pro Max with Triple 200MP Cameras

Oppo announced the Find X10 Pro Max with a triple 200MP camera system, MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, and large silicon-carbon battery for £1,499.

Oppo launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max on October 21, introducing smartphones with high-resolution sensors and silicon-carbon cells. Sanuj Bhatia from Android Central noted that Oppo skipped a standard Pro model to focus on the top tier [1]. With retail prices climbing across Europe and the United Kingdom, the flagship targets mobile creators who demand pro-grade hardware without waiting for a prospective Find X10 Ultra release [2].

Find X10 Pro Max Camera Capabilities

The rear module pairs three separate 200MP sensors for wide, ultrawide, and telephoto photography. For the primary camera, Oppo co-developed a 1/1.28-inch Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor equipped with DeepPix technology that yields up to 17 stops of dynamic range [1]. That component is smaller than the 1/1.12-inch Sony sensor on the Find X9 Ultra, but it uses a new LUMO True Image Engine designed to rein in artificial sharpening. In everyday shooting, daylight contrast stays balanced [2]. Default image processing creates 26MP stills across focal steps between 0.5x and 9.9x [1].

The periscope telephoto lens delivers 3x optical zoom and crops into the sensor for 6x lossless magnification. Close focusing extends to 10 centimeters for macro shots [2]. Ben Schoon from 9To5Google observed that digital zoom beyond 10x struggles to preserve fine textures without visible smoothing [6].

Video tools provide broad flexibility for creators. Every rear camera records 8K footage at 30fps and 4K clips at 120fps, with support for Dolby Vision, ACES-certified O-Log2, and Open Gate Capture for cinematic framing [1]. Filmmakers using the Blackmagic Camera app can preview custom LUT profiles on the display [2]. Luke Baker from TechRadar praised the corner-mounted camera island, which avoids blocking magnetic accessories unlike circular centered modules [4]. Placing the lenses in the corner contrasts with circular housings like the Vivo X500 Pro Max camera setup, preserving clean backplate clearance.

Silicon-Carbon Battery Stamina

Battery hardware uses silicon-carbon chemistry to increase density within an 8.40mm profile. In EU territories, the Find X10 Pro Max packs a 7,150mAh cell, while APAC buyers receive an 8,000mAh variant. That slim casing holds ample energy for demanding shoots [4].

Benchmark endurance tests demonstrate steady discharge curves. In CNET lab evaluations by Andrew Lanxon, one hour of YouTube streaming consumed just 2% of the 8,000mAh battery, with 89% remaining after three consecutive hours [3]. Mat Smith from Engadget reported that the 7,150mAh European edition manages nearly 25 hours of continuous streaming playback or roughly six hours of sustained 4K recording [2]. Under heavy workloads with active GPS tracking and video rendering, Ben Schoon found the phone consistently finished days above 30% [6]. Oppo states the battery retains 80% capacity after five years of daily cycles [3].

Fast charging relies on 80W SuperVOOC wired adapters that replenish the phone rapidly. The handset also accepts 50W AirVOOC wireless charging via Oppo’s proprietary stand [2]. Because Oppo omitted integrated Qi2 magnets from the rear glass panel, magnetic chargers and wallet accessories require official protective cases equipped with embedded magnetic rings. Quick morning top-ups provide enough power for full workdays [6].

Display Calibrations and MediaTek Silicon

The front panel uses a 6.78-inch OLED screen running at 2772 × 1272 pixels, framed by symmetrical 1.15mm borders that match the thin profile of the older Find X9 Pro. Refresh rates scale from 1Hz to 120Hz. Supported competitive games like PUBG, Free Fire, and COD: Mobile can unlock the full 144Hz ceiling for faster input response during fast-paced matches [4]. Outdoor brightness peaks at 3,600 nits, while high brightness mode delivers 2,000 nits under direct sun [5]. In dark rooms, the screen dims to 1 nit [4].

Color calibration targets professional studio standards. The OLED panel covers 95% of the wide BT.2020 space, providing 40% wider range than standard DCI-P3 screens. Dimming uses 3,840Hz PWM below 70Hz, shifting to DC dimming above that threshold to minimize eye fatigue [4].

MediaTek built the Dimensity 9600 Pro on a 2nm architecture, pairing the silicon with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage for a 61-percent jump in multi-core efficiency [2]. Geekbench 7 scores favored the Dimensity chip. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor inside the Find X9 Ultra held an advantage during 3DMark graphics stress tests when running heavy rendering loads [3]. Ben Schoon from 9To5Google tested Genshin Impact in 90°F heat without detecting any noticeable thermal throttling [6]. The system software remains ColorOS 17 [4]. Reviewers like Andrew Lanxon from CNET criticized preinstalled bloatware including Temu, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Bigo Live [3].

How Find X10 Pro Max Pricing Compares

How much is Oppo X10 Pro Max at launch? In the United Kingdom, the flagship retails at £1,499, while continental European retailers list the single 12GB and 512GB configuration at an eye-watering €1,799 [1]. That figure marks a £400 leap over the Find X9 Pro launch price [4]. The steep cost puts the device directly against the iPhone 18 Pro Max and Galaxy S26 Ultra rivalry in global markets.

Shoppers considering the base Find X10 pay £1,099 or €1,399, configured with 12GB RAM alongside 256GB onboard memory [1]. Jamie Richards from TechRadar reviewed the smaller handset, which features a 6.59-inch screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. The standard model swaps the ultrawide camera for a 50MP sensor while retaining dual 200MP sensors for main and telephoto captures alongside identical 80W fast charging capabilities. Retail packaging includes an 80W SuperVOOC power brick and protective case [5]. Buyers who want triple 200MP optics must pay extra for the larger flagship [1].

To cushion the expenditure, Oppo offers launch promotions running until October 28 [2]. UK buyers who order early can claim a bundled Hasselblad Teleconverter kit, an Oppo Watch X3 smartwatch, or an Oppo Pad 5 tablet valued at up to £500 [4]. An additional £100 checkout voucher and trade-in rebates up to £250 further reduce costs [2]. Long-term support includes five years of Android updates and six years of security patches [3].

Teleconverter Accessories and Regional Release

Oppo offers an optional teleconverter lens kit engineered in partnership with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad [2]. The glass accessory extends optical magnification to 10x. Digital enhancements can push hybrid zoom up to 40x for wildlife shooting, although images lose sharpness compared to dedicated DSLR hardware at extreme ranges [3]. Mounting the adapter plate blocks the other rear cameras during handheld shooting. Oppo also collaborated with Tilta on the KHRONOS creator ecosystem, supplying accessories like mounting cages, hand grips, clip-on fans, and external lighting modules for mobile videographers [2].

The chassis pairs an aluminum rail with Corning Crystal Guard Glass. It carries an IP69 rating against high-pressure water jets and dust, validated by an SGS Five Star Drop Resistance Certification. On the left edge sits the customizable Snap Key [4].

Regional availability remains the primary obstacle for North American consumers eyeing the Find X10 Pro Max. Following the dissolution of OnePlus overseas operations earlier this year, Oppo confirmed that it has no plans to distribute its flagship hardware within the United States market [6]. The phone rolls out across the United Kingdom, Europe, and select Asian markets in Luna White and Titanium Grey [2]. Australian retailers have not confirmed local pricing [4].
