Riot Games revealed Valorant agent Hush on October 18, 2026, ahead of the VCT Champions grand final between LOUD and Team Vitality in a broadcast viewed by thousands worldwide. She is a telekinetic Duelist hailing from Guangdong, China. The character arrives as the ninth Duelist in the game and becomes playable on October 27 during Season 2026 // Act VI. Her kinetic kit lets users displace opponents, throw remote flashes, and levitate targets into the air. [1, 2]

New Valorant Agent Hush in Cinematic Reveal

The animated short titled Rise and Fall gave fans their first look at the new Duelist. Riot Games streamed the video before the VCT Champions 2026 grand final between LOUD and Team Vitality. Viewers watched Hush navigate rooftops in Guangdong. [1, 2]

The animated video features the track It’s You by singer Karencici, which Riot Games released on digital music streaming platforms for listeners who follow the game. Coverage from PlayDayOne writer Genghis Husameddin confirms that Hush lands in the client during Season 2026 // Act VI, an update that still has about 80 days remaining on its seasonal clock. That generous window gives teams plenty of time to explore her kinetic kit, test her synergies with initiators, and practice lineups on different tournament maps before the season nears its conclusion. Dexerto reporter Callum Doyle reported that she will be fully playable on October 27, 2026. [1, 2]

Her background in Guangdong adds another Chinese hero to the roster and broadens representation in the tactical shooter. She doesn’t rely solely on ordinary firearms during team fights. Instead, she bends kinetic force to move weapons and disrupt enemy formations across long sightlines in the tactical shooter. Fans can watch her kinetic abilities reshape team fights. [1]

Displacement and Flashbulb Abilities

Her passive ability is Telekinesis. It gives Hush extra reach in every round by allowing her to pick up dropped weapons and retrieve the Spike from a distance without walking over open ground. She can also trigger map switches and doors from afar. [1]

Her signature tool is Displacement, assigned to the E key. She throws the orb right away or holds it in hand to aim carefully before redirecting the projectile to her crosshair. Once launched, the projectile detonates on contact with a surface or after a brief delay, pulling nearby enemies straight to its center point where any opponent colliding with a solid wall, a crate, or a teammate suffers a concussion that ruins aim. Displacement refreshes every two kills. That reset gives a skilled entry fragger quick momentum to clear the next bombsite. [1]

Her Q ability, named Flashbulb, relies on similar flight behavior to blind opposing defenders. Tossing Flashbulb straight ahead or prepping it first allows precise steering before detonation. The device bursts upon touching a wall or when its timer ends, blinding anyone looking at the flash. Because a player can curve the projectile around door frames and over tall obstacles, it lets attackers clear dangerous angles without peeking into an enemy sniper rifle beforehand. That control makes retake attempts much safer. [1]

Flow and Suspension Mechanics

Quick repositioning is crucial for any entry Duelist, and Hush handles movement through her C ability, called Flow. Activating Flow drops an anchor in the environment, and Hush pulls herself to that spot after a brief pause. She dashes forward on flat ground. [1]

Flow also provides airborne utility that alters vertical combat. When Hush activates Flow while jumping or dropping from high ledges, she pauses and floats in the air before flying to her anchor in the sky. That momentary levitation lets her aim shots from surprising angles that defenders won’t anticipate. It’s a handy escape tool when enemies flood a corridor with damaging ground utility because she floats safely above harm. Opponents can’t predict her path easily when she changes elevation mid-air. Her ultimate ability, called Suspension, sits on the X key and delivers large-scale battlefield control. Hush readies the kinetic projectile without delay and launches it forward. She guides the orb using her crosshair, steering it through doorways and around awkward obstacles. Reactivating the key or tapping fire causes an explosion that lifts all players caught in the blast into the air. Enemies trapped by Suspension float above the floor and can’t dodge incoming bullets against teammates waiting on site. [1]

Placing Valorant Agent Hush in the Roster

Hush enters the game as the ninth Duelist on the roster, expanding an offensive class that already features Jett, Reyna, and Raze. While Jett relies on wind gusts and Raze uses explosives, Hush controls kinetic energy to manipulate objects. That approach brings fresh variety to high-tempo entry duels. [1]

Duelists typically focus on securing first blood, but Hush also offers utility that helps when planting or defusing the Spike. Picking up weapons from afar means an economy round isn’t doomed if an expensive rifle drops in an open lane under the watch of enemy snipers. She can pull that weapon to safety or retrieve the dropped Spike from behind cover. That utility helps her team survive tough situations where other entry characters would have to risk their lives in the open to collect the Spike. [1]

Her arrival also fits into wider discussions around hero balance and fair play across the title. Integrity is a priority for Riot Games, as seen in ongoing debates around a Riot ban appeal over hardware detection on PC. As professional squads analyze Hush’s kit, Callum Doyle of Dexerto reported that players will test how her concussions and levitation effects interact with established defensive setups. It won’t take long for tournament teams to evaluate her strengths against popular defensive agents. [1]

Competitive Schedule in São Paulo

The timing of the announcement placed Hush in front of the global esports community. Riot Games revealed her trailer right before the VCT Champions 2026 grand final between LOUD and Team Vitality. That grand stage captured huge viewership and sparked excitement about how she might shape tournament metas next year. [1]

Esports excitement shifts to South America later this month for another premier tournament. From October 22 to November 1, the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2026 takes place in São Paulo, Brasil. Ten qualified rosters from around the globe travel to São Paulo to compete in what tournament organizers call the concluding standalone championship for Game Changers. Fans following the broadcast will see top players compete on the international stage while waiting for Hush to join the live game on October 27. The tournament provides a thrilling backdrop for the community as the season nears its conclusion. [1, 2]

Beyond the esports scene, Valorant continues to engage players on multiple platforms. The free-to-play tactical first-person shooter is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. Subscribers playing on Microsoft consoles can also tap into Game Pass perks to unlock characters and bonuses. With about 80 days remaining in Season 2026 // Act VI, players on all supported platforms have plenty of time to learn Valorant agent Hush and climb the ranked ladder. [2]
