Seven Seas Entertainment announced six new print licenses and three audiobooks, including Fujihito’s Living With My New Cat and Teito Yuzuriha’s Zukyun x Bakyun.

Seven Seas Entertainment announced a fresh wave of story licenses on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, bringing six new book series and three audiobooks to English readers. The new Seven Seas manga additions feature Fujihito’s full-color slice-of-life sequel Living With My New Cat and Teito Yuzuriha’s assassin rom-com Zukyun x Bakyun [1, 3]. While five of the announced print titles won’t arrive on bookstore shelves until 2027, the earliest physical book lands this November with Suzusuke’s fantasy novel about Ains Silvetas [2].

Seven Seas Manga Additions for Late 2026

The first physical book to arrive from the Wednesday slate is Suzusuke’s novel series The One-Eyed, One-Armed, One-Legged Sorcerer, with illustrations by Sumihei, which Seven Seas scheduled for release in November 2026. The story follows Ains Silvetas, a legendary magician whose power started turning heads two thousand years ago. When Silvetas emerges from a quiet forest into a peaceful town, residents wonder whether his old reputation was real or exaggerated [1]. As the publisher explained in its announcement, Silvetas sets out on a casual journey, only to discover that people now worship him as a Demon God [3].

Following that November debut, Seven Seas plans to publish the novel Record of a Reincarnated Chancellor: I Was Summoned by a Hopeless Demon Lord to Rebuild Her Army in February 2027. Written by Panda Pudding with illustrations by Hiyaori, the comedy follows Rei, a man who wakes up in the demon faction of a video game. He joins just as an enemy force wipes out the demon army, leaving him as the only surviving subordinate beneath Fiona the Demon Queen. Rei soon gains a Dungeon Master skill that lets him build deadly traps and resurrect the Four Generals [1].

Rei’s attempt to restore the ruined labyrinth doesn’t go smoothly, as his chaotic renovations unleash an uncontrollable army that threatens the entire realm. Fiona promptly names Rei her right-hand man so they can work together to clean up the mess [1]. According to reporting from Yomimono, these fantasy novels represent the early wave of the publisher’s announcements, while the manga adaptations in this batch arrive later in the calendar year [2].

Fujihito Returns with Living With My New Cat

Among the most prominent manga acquisitions in the announcement is Living With My New Cat, a full-color story by manga creator Fujihito scheduled for August 2027. The title serves as a direct follow-up to Fujihito’s earlier work Living with My Old Cat, continuing the creator’s gentle exploration of pet ownership [1, 3]. It’s never simple to move forward after losing a beloved pet, but the narrative shows how opening a home to a rescue tortie kitten brings warmth and laughter back into daily life. Fujihito highlights the subtle ways everyday routines feel both familiar and refreshingly new with a young kitten running through the house [1].

Unlike standard pocket-sized paperbacks, the publisher will print the Seven Seas manga edition of Living With My New Cat in an oversized format priced at $14.99 in the United States and $19.99 in Canada, as Yomimono detailed in its licensing report. Readers who prefer digital reading can also buy an ebook edition on digital storefronts upon release. The larger format helps preserve Fujihito’s full-color artwork [1, 2]. Cat stories have built a dependable niche for North American manga readers who enjoy quiet, domestic storytelling [2].

Pet lovers have seen similar titles succeed under the publisher’s imprint, such as Hasegawa Roku’s full-color manga Enslaved By My Cats, which Seven Seas acquired for July 2027 during Anime NYC. While that comic leans into broad humor about human servitude to felines, Fujihito takes a softer approach centered on grief and recovery [1, 4]. Readers won’t find high-stakes drama here, just quiet domestic moments that ring true for animal owners [1].

Teito Yuzuriha and Romance Assassin Comedy

Closing out the newly revealed print Seven Seas manga slate is Zukyun x Bakyun by creator Teito Yuzuriha, scheduled for release in September 2027. The series blends fast-paced gunfights with awkward workplace romance, centering on two elite killers named Dan and Lyla [1, 3]. Although Dan and Lyla carry out high-risk missions without hesitation, their personal lives take an unexpected turn when Dan abruptly confesses his love. The sudden confession leaves both killers facing something they have zero training for: dating each other [1].

Seven Seas described the manga as an explosive romantic comedy where Dan and Lyla try to complete dangerous contracts while figuring out mutual affection amidst gunfire and mayhem. Can two professional assassins navigate romantic feelings without ruining their lethal teamwork? That central question powers the book’s comedic tone, contrasting bloody shootouts with shy confessions [1, 3]. It’s a playful twist on typical action tropes that lets Yuzuriha balance slapstick comedy with genuine affection between two armed partners [1].

Also joining the August 2027 calendar is Twinkling Secrets Told Us Tonight Is the Night, a mature Boys’ Love fantasy manga by creator NOJIRO GURI [1, 3]. GURI previously created It Was The End Of Spring and In the Key of Love, Reprised! before developing this fantasy story [3]. The plot follows Alloy, a handsome young noble whose magical talent makes him the backbone of his country. His childhood companion Mikado works closely by his side in public, yet their bond turns deeply electric whenever the two men find themselves alone [1].

Seven Seas Manga Licenses and Audiobook Lineup

Alongside print books, Seven Seas revealed three new audiobook productions under its Siren imprint, providing audio editions for popular Japanese web novel properties. Derek Prince provides the voice narration for Michi Ichiho and Lala Takemiya’s romance story When It Rains, It Pours, which follows two strangers who find shelter together. Maxwell Glick narrates Norasiro and Johndee’s light novel Reluctant Space Commander: From Death Wish to Galactic Hero!, where a man joins the Space Force to look cool [1, 3].

The third audiobook release brings Micky Shiloah to narrate Lemon and sime’s fantasy novel Al the Adventurer: That Magic Shouldn’t Work!, following a young magician who uses his supernatural talents in unconventional ways [1, 3]. Audio adaptations give listeners another avenue to experience these stories without waiting for physical book imports [3]. It’s a practical addition for readers who want to follow light novel storylines during daily commutes or work hours [2].

These fresh announcements highlight how Seven Seas manga releases balance physical book distribution with digital access. While digital storefronts also expanded recently, such as the Emaqi manga catalog October additions, Seven Seas continues to emphasize large-format print releases for collectors. Unlike app-based digital releases where eight new manga series joined Manga UP! Global as serialized chapters, Seven Seas plans oversized book editions and print distribution for North American store shelves. Readers can’t easily replace the physical reading experience with screen reading alone [2].

Catalog Growth Across Major Convention Panels

The latest licensing batch builds upon a very active convention season for Seven Seas manga readers throughout 2026 [4, 5]. During Anime NYC 2026, the publisher unveiled eighteen new titles across manga, manhwa, and danmei novels, as William Moo reported for Anime Trending. That convention slate included Karin Anzai’s romance manga My Lips are Being Targeted, Tako Nonoshima’s Scarlet Thirst, Neneko Narazaki’s Synchronicity Obsession, and Rui Obata’s Girls’ Love story I Wish it Had Just Been Love. Each of those titles received large-trim English releases planned for summer 2027 [4].

Earlier in the summer, Seven Seas also brought fifteen new licenses to Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, reported by both Anukul Saini and Neha for My Otaku World [5, 6]. Those reveals featured Daisuke Itabashi’s manga The Journey of a Dark Elf with Fading Powers and Odoroo Dorothy’s supernatural Girls’ Love story, which carries a $13.99 USA and $18.99 CAN retail price for its first volume in March 2027. The company also expanded its dedicated Baihe imprint with Chinese romance fiction by Qing Jun Mo Xiao [5].

By pairing major convention announcements with smaller midweek reveals like Living With My New Cat and Zukyun x Bakyun, Seven Seas keeps its publishing pipeline steady well into late 2027. Readers won’t have to wait long for the schedule to begin, as physical volumes start rolling out this November with The One-Eyed, One-Armed, One-Legged Sorcerer before the broader manga slate lands in 2027 [1, 2].
